From December 19th, 1996 through February 10, 1999 I made one hand sewn unique book each day. Pages were culled largely from the paper-based detritus of my everyday life. Materials for books include newspaper, bills, receipts, cardboard, tissue paper, photos, menus, shirts, leaves and other biota, and live human bodies. Books may incorporate writing, drawing, collage, or simply the material themselves. The books were exhibited as an installation at Russell Gallery, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, CA in June of 1999. I have performed live readings from the books at many venues.
